  • We recently welcomed talented students from six cities to kick off our annual Vacationer Program. Over the next seven weeks, they’ll gain hands on experience during their summer break, working on real-world projects and learning from our experienced teams.    The best part - they’re not just here to learn, they’re here to challenge, innovate and make an impact. We can’t wait to see what they achieve over the next seven weeks. #SoYouCan #PwCProud #PwCEarlyCareers

Yesterday, I watched 105 incredible new vacationers walk through our doors at PwC Australia. And honestly? It gave me goosebumps.   Their questions weren't just smart...they were fearless! Their passion wasn't just visible....it was contagious!   We spoke about leadership, the importance of being curious and how to keep learning and developing new skillsets. Watching their hunger to grow as professionals demonstrated that these weren't just new hires, they're change-makers in training.   This is what the future looks like, and it's BRIGHT. ✨   To our 105 new team members: Your energy has already made us better. Can't wait to see you go further than you ever imagined.     #PwCEarlyCareers #PwCProud #SoYouCan Rebecca Gulia - thank you and the amazing early careers team for hosting!

  • It's AI Week in Australia and we're focused on what matters most: delivering the many benefits of AI in a responsible and trusted way.   Our work with Avant Mutual is a great example of this in action. We've built an AI solution with privacy-by-default, robust governance, and complete auditability at its core. Data use is transparent and decisions are traceable.   This is what governance-led AI looks like, where innovation and responsibility go hand in hand.   Watch the video case study for a behind-the-scenes look at how we're helping Avant unlock member insights with responsible AI led by humans at the helm: https://lnkd.in/gmbkuirD   #AIWeek #ResponsibleAI #TrustedAI

Art that celebrates who we are 🎨 This week we unveiled "Together We Shine" – a bespoke new artwork celebrating our LGBTIQ+ community.  Created by Wayde Clarke, a proud Wiradjuri/Birpai queer First Nations artist, this piece captures something powerful: what happens when we create real dialogue, genuine allyship, and true belonging. Now permanently displayed in our Sydney office, it reminds us every day that inclusion isn't just a goal – it's how we do our best work. Huge recognition to our Shine employee network champions: Jennifer Allan, Alex Rogers, Marino Felice, Scott Gillespie, Jay Hartley, and David Wytenburg, plus partner sponsors Rohit (Ro) Antao, Marty Jovic and Cherie Mulyono. These leaders don't just talk about inclusion – they make it happen by creating spaces where stories are shared and connections are built. Special thanks to Susie Hickling, Rishika Nair, and Ken Stanhope for volunteering their time and energy to bring this vision to life. #PwCProud

Australia’s insurance sector is at a pivotal juncture. Affordability pressures are reshaping priorities as digital disruption and geopolitics add complexity. In our Insurance Banana Skins 2025 findings, cyber tops the list, technology rises, and AI breaks into the top three; political risk is also climbing. Leaders should move from awareness to action: modernise systems, build cyber and data resilience, and apply richer risk data for smarter pricing. This helps ensure that essential cover stays within reach and customer outcomes improve. Supporting mental health, one peak at a time ⛰️   This November, our very own Kane Ford completed a personal challenge: hiking the three highest peaks in Mt Kosciuszko National Park to raise awareness of men’s mental health, as part of Movember.   Kane’s connection to mental health is personal. After experiencing his own challenges, he found that hiking became a lifeline. “Hiking saved my life and now I like to share my love for it with others,” Kane says.   As part of the challenge, Kane carried his iconic ‘BIG MO’ - a 2-meter-wide, 20kg moustache - throughout the trek.
