What We Do
CDF provides financial and technical assistance to Member States to address the root causes of economic and social disparities and economic dislocation through these programmes.
Strengthening CDF's Capacity to Lead Social and Economic Cohesion Building in CARICOM
CDF is improving its capacity to lead cohesion building, position itself as a preferred partner to regional and international development agencies, and design and launch innovative development financing instruments – via these internal projects:
- Aligning Organisational Structure, Skills and Competencies
- New Organisational Structure.
- Team established with knowledge, experiences, skills, and attitudes – to execute the 2024-2028 Strategic Plan.
- Policy Enablement
- Policy framework aligned with development best practices.
- Policy framework aligned with resource mobilisation strategies.
- IT Enablement
- Upgraded Programme Management Information System.
- Core business functions integrated.
- Electronic Document Management System operational.

Knowledge sharing is fundamental to the partnerships that enable the CDF. These resources contribute to a shared understanding of CDF’s policies and procedures, and the Theories of Change that underpin cohesion building; and capacity building of our staff and counterparts in our Member Countries
