Annually (each September) DIR updates the procurement schedule of solicitation opportunities of all planned procurements for the coming fiscal year.
Please note that all planned procurements are subject to change and all dates are approximate and subject to change without notice. Check this page often for updates.
Note: This page has formerly been referred to as the Current Contracting Initiatives (CCI).
All Solicitations are also posted and maintained on the Electronic State Business Daily (ESBD).
DIR conducts procurements for Cooperative Contracts (CC), Shared Technology Services (STS), Communications Technology Services (CTS), and Internal (I) DIR purchases.
If you have questions about any of the procurements listed here, you may only contact the point of contact shown for the particular procurement. Failure to abide by this requirement may affect your eligibility for an award.

Planning Phase
Respondents should be aware that DIR intends to transition away from branded contracts for the Cooperative Contracts program. DIR does not intend to publish any future branded solicitations. Respondents, including all awardees under any current branded RFO, are strongly encouraged to respond to all future Cooperative Contracts RFOs soliciting similar categories of products and services.

The Department of Information Resources (DIR) seeks to solicit Responses from interested vendors to provide Managed Network Services (MNS) as a new Service Component Provider (SCP) within the Shared Technology Services (STS) program at the State of Texas, acting by and through DIR. Posting Phase
Respondents should be aware that DIR intends to transition away from branded contracts for the Cooperative Contracts program. Respondents, including all awardees under any current Branded RFO, are strongly encouraged to respond to all future Cooperative Contracts RFOs soliciting similar categories of products and services.
These Solicitations are currently active. Vendors are able to submit responses until the deadline. Official response documents and instructions are posted on the Electronic State Business Daily (ESBD). Pre-Solicitation conference dates are posted on the DIR calendar. After the pre-solicitation conference is held, a recording of the pre-solicitation conference will be posted to DIR's YouTube channel.
DIR intends to contract to provide Cabling Services and Related Products. DIR is not soliciting Cabling Services and Related Products for the agency. DIR establishes statewide master contracts for use by DIR eligible customers under the Cooperative Procurement program.

Vendor Management Application (BidStamp)
BidStamp is DIR’s e-procurement system that supports solicitations and contracts throughout the procurement lifecycle by automating the procurement processes, e.g., solicitation creation and posting, collecting vendor responses, evaluation of responses and recommendations, and contract creation, award, and management.
Evaluation Phase
DIR is currently evaluating responsive vendors’ proposals and no longer accepting responses from the vendor community.
In order to maintain the integrity of the competitive procurement process, please do not contact the Procurement Lead regarding the status of the evaluation. No information other than what is publicly available in the table below may be disclosed to Respondents during the Evaluation Phase. Any date changes in the anticipated conclusion of the evaluation phase are noted in the table below. All Respondents will be notified once evaluations are completed.
