I was hoping that there is perhaps documentation or a database that would avoid pitfalls with API changes. There are also cases when a fanction/macro was moved: kvmalloc was once in mm.h, but has been moved to slab.h. Such cases can't be detected with this method.

Looks like there is no better way, but manually recursively blame GitHub
