🌿 Sustainability Reporting Workshop under International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) Standards On 10 December, PwC Vietnam successfully hosted the workshop “Sustainability Reporting under ISSB Standards: What Should Businesses Prepare?” in Ho Chi Minh City. The event attracted representatives from companies seeking to enhance the quality of their sustainability reporting. Currently, almost 40 countries have adopted ISSB Standards for disclosing sustainability-related financial information. These standards serve as a critical foundation for improving report quality, increasing transparency and providing reliable data to the market. During the workshop, PwC experts, including Mr Nguyen Hoang Nam (ESG Services Leader and Partner, Assurance Services) and Mr Luong The Cuong (Cuong L.) (Senior Manager, Risk Services – ESG), presented the structure and key requirements of ISSB Standards. They also shared practical examples to clarify the types of information businesses need to disclose and proposed a roadmap for implementing ISSB-aligned reporting. The event offered in-depth insights to help Vietnamese businesses improve transparency, manage risks and seize opportunities to create value in the short, medium and long term. This is particularly important as Viet Nam accelerates its efforts to strengthen its position on the global financial map, aiming to meet criteria for upgrading its stock market and building an international financial centre. #PwCVietnam #ISSB #ESG #Sustainability

Under Asian Development Bank’s (ADB) Technical Assistance 9417-VIE, funded by Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), Vietnam is reinforcing the legal foundations needed to develop and implement the new Law on Water Supply and Drainage—from improving legislation and PPP development to strengthen oversight and enhance the efficiency of water supply and drainage services. From 24 October to 2 November 2025, a delegation of representatives from the Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, Ministry of Justice, the National Assembly of Vietnam, and PwC Vietnam undertook an international study tour in Australia. The delegation engaged directly with policymakers, regulatory bodies, water utilities, project developers, and leading industry associations. Supported closely by the URTF and World Bank Group, this collaboration highlights the strong partnership across development and finance institutions in driving Vietnam’s upstream policy reforms. As the lead advisor to TA 9417-VIE, PwC Vietnam is proud to support Vietnam’s journey toward a sustainable, modern, and climate-resilient water sector. #PwCVietnam #WaterSectorReform #UrbanResilience #SustainableInfrastructure #WaterGovernance
