Dealing with constant change at work? You’re not alone. 😅 New tools roll out every quarter, teams shift, and priorities get rewritten. It can be challenging to keep up with changes. Here’s the truth: you can’t control the pace of change. But you can control how you respond to it. And that’s where adaptability comes in. Adaptability is more than “going with the flow.” It’s a skill you can actively practice. Here's how: 1️⃣ Stay curious. Explore the new tools or processes. Curiosity turns change into a chance to grow. 2️⃣ Reframe setbacks. See challenges not as failures, but as data for what to try next. 3️⃣ Flex your style. Adjust how you work depending on your team, your role, or the situation. The people who thrive in 2026 won’t be the ones with the fanciest résumés. They’ll be the ones who can shift gears without losing focus and turn change into opportunity. ✨ Save this post as a reminder that adaptability isn’t about survival. It’s about staying ahead.

Meet Kirk Sigmon — a D.C.-based IP attorney, partner, and “lawyer who codes.” 👋 While many lawyers study AI law from the sidelines, Kirk wanted real technical fluency. That’s why he enrolled in Dartmouth College’s online MEng in Computer Engineering on Coursera — a program he says will “pay off a bazillion times over” in his career. 🧠 “Most attorneys presenting themselves as AI specialists have never programmed anything,” he says. “But having done the coding myself opens doors and gives me credibility.” Kirk’s path spans English Literature, Japanese, law school at Cornell, programming in Japan, Electrical Engineering, and an MBA. Now he’s bringing it all together in the rapidly growing field of AI and intellectual property law. 💡 “The program is the perfect blend of AI knowledge and engineering fundamentals,” he says. “It’s already directly relevant to my clients’ work in autonomous vehicles and machine learning.” He credits Dartmouth’s faculty and tight-knit cohort for an online experience that feels truly personal: “The professors know us by name and genuinely care.” Kirk graduates in Spring 2026, but he’s already applying his new skills to advise clients on AI patents with deeper technical authority. Ready to expand what’s possible in your own field? Apply by December 15 to join Dartmouth’s MEng in Computer Engineering. https://bit.ly/4p8KfWN

👋 Meet SOHAM DASGUPTA, a Marketing Operations Manager here at Coursera! Over the past two years, Soham has driven campaign execution, lifecycle marketing, and platform migrations that help Coursera’s marketing ecosystem run smarter and scale efficiently. “What I look forward to most is continuing to explore how marketing technology can simplify workflows and create real impact for learners and teams,” he says. 🧠 Advice that stuck with Soham: “Clarity and outcomes matter most—tools will change, but how you communicate and create impact will define your growth.” ✏️ Want to learn like Soham? Try the Generative AI for Executives and Business Leaders Specialization by IBM. “This program was a great opportunity to dive deeper into how generative AI can drive business innovation while highlighting the importance of adopting it responsibly,” he says. “My biggest takeaway: AI isn’t just about efficiency—it’s about unlocking new ways to create value while ensuring transparency, ethics, and trust.” https://bit.ly/4ruBPL9

Take a pause before you sprint into 2026. Reflection and gratitude are “feel-good” habits that are powerful tools for growth. And AI can help you capture the lessons of your year. Try these prompts (fill in the blanks ⬇️): 1️⃣ “Here are 3 proud moments from my year: [list]. Turn them into résumé-worthy stories?” 2️⃣ “Here are the people who helped me succeed: [list]. Suggest thoughtful ways to thank them.” 3️⃣ “Based on my experiences this year: [summary], what’s one skill or mindset I should focus on in 2026?” Spend 10 minutes on these and you might walk away with a new perspective (and maybe a 2026 game plan). 🎓 Keep building your growth story with AI: https://bit.ly/49Rgfdk

Before you dive into 2026 with a long list of goals, pause for a moment. Reflection can be one of the most powerful learning tools. Instead of rushing ahead, ask yourself 3 simple questions about 2025: 1️⃣ What worked in my learning this year? 2️⃣ What didn’t work? 3️⃣ What’s the next skill I want to build? Answering these honestly helps you celebrate your wins, learn from setbacks, and set clearer intentions for what’s next. ✨ Take 10 minutes to reflect. Write it down, say it out loud, or even share it with a friend. You might walk into 2026 with focus and purpose. Save this post as your year-end check-in.
