Fast growth forces a different level of RevOps rigor. Coming off of our 3.3M seed round, Clipbook’s GTM motion went from fast to breakneck - new deals every week, renewals surging, and enough metrics flying around that it became difficult to measure how quickly we were scaling. We had plenty of data - HubSpot, spreadsheets, custom dashboards - but no unified system tying the whole revenue engine together. We needed something that could keep pace with how quickly Clipbook was growing. We kept hearing about Equals (shoutout to Marty Kausas), so we put them to the test. Within days, their team was rebuilding our entire revenue model on top of HubSpot, inside a tool everyone already uses: the spreadsheet. Now we have: -End-to-end funnel reporting from creation → pipeline → conversion → renewal. -True GTM performance visibility — attainment, pipeline quality, ARR, the works. -Clean, reliable logic for renewals, expansions, and deal associations. -Unified ARR, GRR, and NRR dashboards that finally align sales, CS, and finance. -Implementation support that operated like an extension of our RevOps function. Every leader, rep, and investor at Clipbook is now looking at the same real-time metrics — accurate, trusted, and built to support the next phase of our growth. If you’re scaling fast, preparing to raise, or hiring to keep up with demand, we’d point you to Equals without hesitation!

Private chefs, hidden venue and 30+ Finance and RevOps leaders. Our end of year NYC holiday dinner went down a treat. Always fun partnering with Ben McRedmond, Abbey Lauren Minondo, Eric Novotny and the Equals team, even better when surrounded by a group of our customers and partners. We're wrapping up a big year of events and it's been fun to see how they've evolved. These dinners are now filling up within 1 week of sending invites, we receive regular follow ups on the candid conversations / relationships built and requests for when we're hosting the next one. On this note, we're already preparing a return to the same spot in the new year so let me know if you'd like to join.

What better way to kick off the holiday party season than with 32 of the best Finance and RevOps leaders? Last night, we escaped the NYC cold and joined our friends at Sequence (Enda, Stephen, and Donal) for a night of mingling. Thanks to everyone who joined us: Clay, Cursor, Gusto, Playground, Raspberry AI, Sightline Climate (CTVC), Method, Posh, G/O Media, Arch, Framer, Crosby, Polly, Fora Travel, Healthee, Outtake, Teleskope, Thoughtly, Function Health, Cubby, Cortex, 645 Ventures DM me or comment if you want to join the next one. Data, Ops & COS folks -- check out Equals, you'll thank me. A few months of using Equals at Workstreet and it's proven an incredibly valuable tool for our team's ability to access and interpret data. It ingests and centralizes our data from HubSpot , QBO, PostgreSQL, and other tools and tables so we can query and build Excel-style reports with the data - formulas, pivots, tables, and charts. If your team reverts to GSheets because it's "easier to manipulate" and since our brains have been programmed to consume data in this format (Ask a Chief of Staff IYKYK), this is the tool to bridge your team from static sheets to live reports. It's helped reduce our data slippage and outdated data sets that come with "GSheet overload". Now with Equals, we send daily team reports to Slack and quickly spin up one-off summaries for pressure-testing and reporting on our activities and results with live, reliable data. Our teams are self-serving data based on approved, centralized tables. It's something we can put a lot of weight on as we grow. At onboarding, they helped us build out clear ARR logic, recurring reports, and clean base tables to build off. Shout out to Eric Novotny, Eliza Foley, and Keegan Bruns on the Equals team, looking forward to seeing how far we go together 🚀🚀🚀🚀 Any questions, happy to share my experience.

We're hosting New York's Finance & RevOps leaders for a private holiday dinner on Dec 9th with Equals. After successful London events with our friends at Numeric and RORA, we wanted to close 2025 on a high. We've reserved two professional chefs from Misi and Lilia to cook while Finance & RevOps operators reflect on what’s worked this year and share how they’re building scalable orgs heading into 2026. The dinner is at 6:30pm in Soho and spaces are limited. Sign up link is in the comments  👇

If you're scaling a GTM team, this one’s for you. You can now write back to Salesforce and HubSpot from Equals. For years, teams have lived with CRMs full of missing data and “I’ll clean it up later” fields. We decided to fix that. Now you can build reports in Equals, see exactly what’s off, and push the corrected data straight back into Salesforce or HubSpot. ARR, deal stages, amounts, custom fields. All of it. Software shouldn’t surface problems, it should help solve them. Now it does. If you want access, comment below and get back to trusting your CRM.

Put 33 RevOps leaders in a room and you've got a sure-fire way of having a good time. Yesterday, Abbey and I co-hosted a Thanksgiving event alongside our friends (+ customers!) at Default (Nico + Stan). One thing stood out over the rest: GTM is having a moment. We’ve never seen this amount of excitement toward bringing rigor and science to the art of selling and launching products. Folks from across the Northeast travelled in to share how they’re approaching this in their own businesses – and enjoy some amazing food. It was a treat to be a part of such rich discussions. Thank you to everyone who joined us! Jack Gallo, Brian W., Denny Dai, Sergey Mann, Wendy Cheng, Perri Chilton, Tim B., Jamie Wang, Austin Schwartz, Michael Bartimer, Caroline Schurz, Nathan Muller, Lynn Eros, Alex K., Horacio Lopez, Emily Barsky, Adrianna Brown, Rachel Brissette, Justin Lee, Sarah Madden, Stefan Klotzbuecher

“It gave us a rough sense of progress, but it wasn’t reliable or fast enough for how quickly our outbound motion was scaling”. This was what Vishvesh at Shaped was experiencing when trying to measure a rapidly expanding outbound team. A day in the life on his team looked like this: Gathering data from Hubspot. Exporting the data into Sheets. Reconciling numbers. Recreating the funnel by hand. All just to get an understanding of their current pipeline, anticipated revenue, and changes from the previous week. Their workflow was a bandaid solution to what they really needed for accurate reporting: a real-time sync between their database and their spreadsheet. With Equals, they’re now able to not just measure the fundamentals, but go an extra layer deeper. “We can see coverage, pacing, and rep performance all in one place.” Deciding on our platform was an easy decision once they realized that better tool alignment gave them time back to dig into their inputs. Things like activity, conversion rates, and win rates – because scaling an outbound team sustainably requires more than just looking at this months’ pipeline. And ultimately, the more you can control before the deal closes, the better you can anticipate what do to speed up that process. If this sounds all too familiar, let me know, happy to show you what you could unlock too → https://equals.com/

Coming soon to NYC: RevOps Thanksgiving! We’re hosting an event with our friends at Default to bring together the best RevOps leaders to share what’s been working in their worlds and have a few good laughs. Former chefs from Misi and Lilia will be cooking up a Thanksgiving feast early this year, on Nov 18th. The guest list is packed with the best of the best. We have a few spots left, but it’s limited. Comment “RevOps” below and you might get an invite from me.

Default has grown a TON in the last year, but like with every company: growth exposes cracks. Which is why we brought on Ryan DeForest to help us build our GTM Foundation. The goal was simple: Bring clarity, discipline, and operational rigor to our entire GTM motion — so we wouldn’t have to piece together pipeline, forecast, and retention from scattered systems and reports. Something also especially important after raising our latest round (more on that soon). We needed a system that: - Was flexible enough to handle the nuances of our business - Could be used by our entire team - Required minimal lift on our end So we partnered with the team at Equals — who previously helped stand up our ARR reporting. After providing them context on our business model, their team was able to: - Build unified funnel reporting for pipeline creation, stage velocity, conversion rates, and AE/BDR performance - Add visibility into renewals and expansions, including multi-year and step-up contracts - Audit our CRM to uncover gaps and inconsistencies, so we could clean the data for accurate and reliable reporting - Enable self-serve workflows for RevOps, without waiting on engineering - Help us slot dashboards directly into weekly pipeline reviews and forecast meetings, creating a repeatable operating rhythm Equals has built an amazing product, but the work they did on implementation truly felt like they were an extension of our team. The impact is already showing up in how we manage the business — more visibility, cleaner processes, and better alignment across teams. Excited about what we’ve built together. Big thanks to Sam Rasmussen, Chris Burgner, Eliza Foley, and Ben McRedmond for the support in standing this up!
