  • From our Chicago Customer Show & Tell, Joann Ng, Product Marketing Manager at ActiveCampaign, shared how her team built 23 product walkthroughs and saw a 467% increase in engaged visitors, without relying on video recordings. Before with video, her team was chasing updates and re-recording every time a new AI feature launched. "Every time we recorded a demo, it felt like we were hit with a built-in expiration date." How they made the switch: - Built a self-serve product tour library, with filters by feature like SMS, Email, and AI - Added guided prompts and sample inputs, especially for new AI functionality - Let users “get their hands on the wheel” right from the website Read highlights from Joann’s talk: https://lnkd.in/gh7MJXqm

  • Overwhelming booth traffic. Multiple product launches. A diverse user base. How D2L turned a chaotic conference demo setup into a self-guided, scalable experience: At Fusion, their annual customer conference, D2L needed to: 1. Showcase multiple product announcements 2. Tailor the experience for very different audiences 3. Reduce wait times at their demo stations Their solution? A choose-your-own-adventure style interactive demo. Using Navattic’s interest form, attendees could select the specific product features or categories they cared about. The demo would instantly launch a personalized flow based on their interests. “Attendees can select exactly what they’re interested in exploring… they’re launched into a tailored flow,” said Sammi Zhao, Product Marketing Manager at D2L. The results: - Better booth traffic management through self-service iPads - More engaging conversations (thanks to better-prepared customers) - A reusable post-event asset for follow-up - Data on which features drove the most engagement Read how D2L built a demo experience that scaled without sacrificing personalization: https://lnkd.in/eHfqzWff

  • From our Seattle Customer “Show & Tell” Evan Sageng, M.Ed, the Senior Instructional Designer at Intermedia Intelligent Communications, shared how his team trained thousands of global sellers using interactive demos and saw a 140% increase in reach. Instead of relying only on LMS courses, Evan’s team now embeds demos directly into enablement content, helping partners engage faster and more often. How they made the switch: - Use story-driven walkthroughs: showing a real user’s experience instead of listing features made the training more memorable and relevant. - Remove access friction: demos are embedded directly into training content, rather than buried in gated LMS flows. - Translate with one click: built-in translation helped the team support dozens of global markets without relying on manual review. - Update demos with editing: instead of building new demo environments, they use HTML editing to keep brand and messaging consistent across regions.
