Because owning takes some of the sting out, and I mean every single word here: Last year stretched me in ways I wasn’t ready for, and somewhere in the chaos I slipped from being a “fearless communicator” into expressing myself online with intensity I hadn’t processed. Without the grounding of a team or a community around me, my Founder tunnel-vision sometimes spilled over in ways that didn’t reflect who I want to be. So I want to own a few moments … three, specifically … where my actions didn’t match my intentions: 1. To some Tech Industry giants I was too pushy and relentless with in DMs, emails and LinkedIn comments: I truly meant to stay respectful, but my overconfidence got ahead of my actual outcomes. I’m sorry for taking more attention than I returned in value. 2. To the folks worried about AI who ended up in comment-chain debates with me: I argued like I was defending an entire industry instead of simply listening. Experiencing the job market myself has deepened my empathy. I still stand by some points, but I’m sorry for leading with idealism instead of curiosity. 3. To the person who criticized Apple and its employees, and I went down harsher than I should have: You were exercising your right to an opinion, and I didn’t need to take it personally. I’m sorry for responding with unnecessary sharpness. . . . These moments taught me a lot about presence, boundaries, and how I want to show up online — with more listening, more humility, and more humanity. #ProductManagement #Innovation #Entrepreneurship
