We’re excited to share that Noom will apply to participate in ACCESS, CMS’s upcoming 10-year innovation model advancing scalable, technology-enabled chronic care beginning in 2026. At Noom, our mission has always been simple: help people live healthier lives through sustainable behavior change. ACCESS represents a powerful opportunity to extend that mission even further with integrated, daily-life-friendly tools and guidance that make healthy living more achievable. With more than a decade of experience helping millions build lasting habits, Noom is uniquely positioned to contribute meaningful insights and outcomes to this new model. We’re proud to help shape a future where whole-person, accessible support is at the center of living well. We look forward to bringing what we’ve learned to a model designed to help more people thrive.
Thrilled to be in DC today for Jacob Shiff’s and Amy Gleason’s announcement of CMS’s ACCESS Model, which Noom will apply for. It’s a 10-year innovation initiative designed to make scalable, technology-enabled chronic care a reality for millions of Americans beginning in 2026. ACCESS represents a major step forward in how we approach chronic disease management. In the not-too-distant future, Medicare members living with early or established conditions — including prediabetes, obesity, diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, chronic pain, and behavioral health challenges — will have coverage for evidence-based digital programs like Noom. At Noom, we’ve long believed that behavior change is medicine. Our programs have demonstrated effectiveness in addressing obesity and prediabetes, improving quality of life, reducing medication dependence, and generating cost savings for health plans. Through ACCESS, we’ll be able to expand those benefits to even more people — bringing the tools for better health, greater longevity, and more joyful living to the Medicare population. The future of chronic care is proactive, data-driven, and equitable. And we’re honored and excited at the possibility to play a small part in CMS’s much larger vision.
