The wave of AI-generated slop code is coming. Human code reviewers can’t keep up. Agents have no memory or context beyond what’s on each laptop. There is no big picture understanding of codebase architecture. Don’t get me wrong—it’s unbelievable that agents are as good as they are with only their training data and grep. But deploying a million ultra-sophisticated coders that are eager to add and add and add… But can only search a tiny fraction of your codebase is not going to work! Maybe someday AGI will solve this. Until then, there’s Sourcegraph.
