Changing text to French
- [Instructor] In this demonstration, I'm not going to be going through all of the features of the localized plugin. They are deep and indulgent and include, among others, the ability to add your team and the ability to add multiple translations to your project. What I am going to do is walk through how the text you see here will be translated to Canadian French, right on the Figma artboard. For those of you that do have a free account, if you want to work along with me, open the localized.fig file found in your chapter download. The text I'm going to be working with is part of the script I narrated in the previous exercise. Just keep in mind, this project could be iOS, web, or Android with buttons, text blocks, links, and so on. The beauty of Lokalise is it will translate the entire page. Notice the use of the word page. The fundamental rule when working with Lokalise is one page, one language. With that out of the way…
