    It is a very useful course. Agile Foundations explains a polished version of Agile that rarely survives contact with real teams. It presents an ideal environment where everyone is a generalist, stakeholders have a slightest clue what they want, and product owners magically understand user needs. Frictionless vacuum with a team of 1kg square metal sphere generalists, 1m in diameter, perfectly rolling through meetings, sprints, ceremonies, toward 2 week goals without needing UX input, Figma mockups, or even a clue from end users. It presents Agile as a beautiful fantasy where PO omniscience replaces actual research and design. Great if you're simulating software in a lab. Tesla reportedly aims for very short feedback cycles: some “iterations” on hardware or manufacturing design are completed in hours. They use cross-functional, fluid teams. “agile rituals” are minimal or informal. People to hear to: Dave Thomas, Martin Fowler, Ron Jeffries, Elon Musk.
