Management port

- The web GUI is a great way to manage our Firepower firewall, and sometimes we need to make changes to the ports that are on the firewall for many different reasons. We can make changes to the outside port, the inside port, or the management port. So I'm going to go to where it says Interfaces and click on View All Interfaces. And here we can see the outside interface and the IP address that I've set. And if I'd like, I can go in and make changes to that. And we see Ethernet 1/2 through 1/8. Now I can't make changes to that directly, I actually need to go into where it says VLANs to make that change. But this video's all about the management port. So what I want to do is make changes to the management port. So I'm going to click on the edit pencil button that you see there. And here you see the interface name.
