Celebrate success, acknowledge failure

- When a project goes well, we know what comes next, right? Yep, cake and coffee. Everyone talks about how much fun this was and how much they're going to miss the daily stand-ups. It all feels like that last day of school just before summer break. But when it doesn't, we bring everyone together for lessons learned. And the resultant finger pointing likely does more harm than good. Both of those scenarios are important. In our journey to continuous improvement, there will be ups and downs, highs and lows. They are all a part of your journey. When things go well, ask what went well? And try to figure out why it went well, so that you can harness that power in the future. When things don't go well or downright flop, ask those same questions and be honest with the answers. Don't try to spin it into some weird positive situation.
