- [Instructor] Here's the Windows File Explorer window. This tool is how you manipulate and manage your files in Windows. And if you don't see it, press the Windows + E keyboard shortcut to pop up a File Explorer window. Now, organizing files is one of your responsibilities as the computer user. The more you organize files, the more proficiently you can use the computer, and this is the tool where it happens. The File Explorer shows files listed here in the center part of the window. These are files from the location shown in the address bar here. To the left is the navigation pane. This lists popular locations, places you visited, or things in Windows. The navigation pane is visible by default. Commands on the toolbar help you manipulate files. And this overflow icon indicates more commands that aren't currently displayed.
