- [Instructor] Despite being retired a few versions of Windows ago, the Control Panel remains a useful app available in today's versions of Windows. Here's a shortcut to jump into the Control Panel when you need to access some specific or antique Windows feature: Press the Windows + E keyboard shortcut to bring up a File Explorer window. The Control Panel is available from the address bar here. There it is. This presentation isn't my favorite, but it's the default. There is a better way to access individual items held in the Control Panel. Once again, bring up a File Explorer window, press Control + E, click in the address bar or press the Control + L keyboard shortcut and type control panel\. Choose control panel\All Control Panel Items. And there they all are. These settings are listed alphabetically, but be aware they go by row and not column.
