The SSCP exam

- [Instructor] The SSCP exam is a multiple choice computer-based test that you'll take at a Pearson VUE Testing Center. It's available in English, Japanese, and Spanish. When test day arrives, you'll have a total of four hours to take an exam containing 150 questions that cover seven domains of information security. These include security concepts and practices, access controls, risk identification, monitoring, and analysis, instant response and recovery, cryptography, network and communication security, and systems and application security. The questions on the exam come in two formats. The vast majority of the questions are multiple choice questions, providing you with a question followed by four possible answer choices, one of which is correct. Your exam will also contain scenario-based questions where you're asked to read a short scenario, and then answer one or more multiple choice questions based upon that scenario. I'll cover those more later in this course. To pass the exam, you'll need to achieve a score of at least 700 out of 1,000 possible points.
