Getting started with Project Online basics, part 1
- [Instructor] Project Online gives us the ability to create custom fields that can be used to tailor the application to our specific business needs. To get to the custom fields, you can go to the gear and select PWA settings. Under the PWA settings page, you'll see Enterprise, Custom Fields and Lookups. Under the Lookups page, you'll see all of the fields listed at the top. Now I've added quite a few custom fields for this particular instance. You'll see that they are project task or resource fields. And of course, the type of field that they are for a data element. Each one of these can be associated with a lookup if you want. And you'll see that I have this roles one as an example. It has a set of values in it, and it's used by this field called Team Roles. Here, it has the custom values added to that particular field that a user might think of. These are like a pick list that you might select from, and it makes…
