Setting up our internal workstation
- [Instructor] There's one more thing that we need for our lab, and that's a LAN workstation, which we'll call Client 01. I've cloned that already and started it up. So let's do the setup. We're not installing anything, so all we'll need to do is configure a static IP address. We'll right click on the Network icon. Open Network and Internet Settings. Change Adapter Options. Properties. IPV4 Properties. And we'll use the following IP address and we'll use 172.16.1.3 and our subnet mask is given for us. And we'll change that to 255. And our default gateway is 172.16.1.1. And our preferred server is eight plus eight plus eight plus eight. Okay, and we'll close that. And we'll shut down. And in Proxmox, we'll select Hardware. Network Device. And we'll change the default of vmbr0 to vmbr2 for our internal lab. Okay, and this is ready for running in the lab now.
