Adafruit IO - Raspberry Pi Tutorial
From the course: Raspberry Pi Weekly
Adafruit IO
- Collecting data with a Raspberry Pi is easy to do. But once you collect it you need to process it. One way to process data is right on the Raspberry Pi. For example, read a sensor, then activate a motor. You can see several examples of this on the Raspberry Pi GPIO course. Another way is to collect the data, download it, and then use a batch process. Spreadsheets for example. A third way is with a cloud data service coupled to a real time dashboard. There are several offerings you can explore. In this session let's take a look at an offering from Adafruit. Hi, I'm Mark Niemann-Ross, and welcome to this week's edition of "Raspberry Pi Weekly". Every week we explore the Raspberry Pi and share useful tips. Adafruit is a Raspberry Pi supplier and provides electronics for experimentation. I've personally bought a lot of electronics from Adafruit for use in this series of videos. Adafruit.io is available as either a free…
