- [Instructor] When we're trying to make a large-scale decision based on data, we will use aggregate data as a way to provide valuable totals without providing all the raw data. Generally with this type of analysis, people really don't care about that one individual record or that one data point. They want to see the aggregated totals. We have a new project from our executives, and they want to show the variation of credit values across our client list. They want to show that we have a wide variety of customers and various credit limits. We can show this information without disclosing the actual customer list and the individual credit values. Let's start by looking at our credit authorizations file. As a data analyst, we have access to each record for our customer and their individual credit limits.
