I’d love to join Camp Cotton because this experience speaks directly to the heart of my work. As Sustainability Manager at NAME IT (BESTSELLER’s Kids Brand ) I spend every day pushing for more responsible fibre choices and deeper supply-chain transparency. Getting the chance to meet Australian cotton farmers, researchers, and innovators firsthand would be incredible. Seeing the full journey of cotton “on the ground,” understanding the latest farming technology, and connecting with the people behind it would be a dream opportunity. I’m all in! 🌱✨
As we move toward a more circular textile system, understanding fibre production at its source is key. Seeing Australian cotton practices first-hand would strengthen my ability to design transition pathways and practical adoption models for more sustainable materials.
What truly sparks joy in me is knowing that something like “Camp Cotton” exists — a place to share the love of cotton from its very source. This touches something deep in me, especially because cotton has become the heart of my work. Every time I design or collaborate this connection to the raw material guides me.I fell in love with cotton even more when I stepped fully into the textile world, beyond my degree. Over the last 5years, I’ve explored textile technologies and natural fiber processes, learning how materials grow and transform from seed to garment. I traveled through several countries and even visited farmers by chance — and it felt like home.I truly hope to join this journey in Australia — to learn how cotton grows within your soil, climate, and traditions, and how the future of the Australian cotton industry is envisioned. It inspires me deeply, and I’m eager to learn and share this knowledge with my community and beyond. It would be my greatest joy to take part, dive deeper, and learn from all angles of this beautiful niche — one that deserves to be treasured for future generations and for our soil’s health. I would be honored to join with an open heart. May we continue to share the joy of cotton with the world.
Reading these posts is truly inspiring. I appreciate your effort to explore the emotional and ethical depth of our connection with cotton. As a Textile Engineer and R&D Engineer, I also work in the fields of Textiles and Sustainability, and I am passionately committed to these kinds of transparency projects. I would love to be part of the Camp Cotton journey, meet the Australian farmers, and learn the true story of this valuable fiber. I am ready to contribute to this cause and be a part of a more responsible future!
As a sustainability and CSR leader in the textile industry, I am deeply committed to strengthening raw-material traceability and improving our understanding of sustainable cotton farming practices. Attending Camp Cotton would be an invaluable opportunity for me to gain first-hand insight into responsible cotton production, innovative farming technology, and the collaborative efforts behind Australia’s leading cotton programs. This experience would help me bring practical knowledge back to my organization, strengthen our cotton sourcing strategy, and support our transition toward more sustainable fibers across the supply chain. I would be honored to learn directly from farmers, researchers, and experts shaping the future of cotton. 🌿✨
I would love to join on this adventure and really experience how cotton is made. As part of Fashion Revolution Bulgaria, It’s part of my job to talk about how our clothes are made and share insights on textile, sustainability, and fast fashion. So getting the behind the scenes will be an amazing experience and opportunity! Fingers crossed! 🤞🤞
This is an incredible opportunity. As a brand owner whose entire mission is built on traceability and showing the real journey from farm to garment, this feels like the perfect next chapter for our community. We don't just post new designs; we take our audience deep into the stories of our materials, the soil, and the hands that shape them. From farm to manufacture to store front. Joining Camp Cotton would allow us to bring this ethos to life in real time for our 100K+ YouTube and Instagram community. We'd love to live-stream from the fields, interview the farmers and researchers you mentioned, and translate this vital, ground-level work into compelling content for a new generation of conscious consumers and creators who are hungry for this connection but might not yet be in the room. It’s exactly this kind of raw, authentic access that breaks through the noise and builds true trust. We’d be honored to help tell this story. #SustainableFashion #MaterialTraceability #BrandTransparency #PickMe
I would absolutely love to join Camp Cotton. Cotton makes up more than half of our fibre use, so it’s one of the most important fibres to truly understand. Yet I have never actually visited a cotton farm. We talk so much about fibre choices, impacts and transparency, but nothing compares to seeing it all on the ground and meeting the people behind the crop! What excites me most is the chance to speak directly with farmers and researchers. Getting to learn directly from the people behind the cotton would be inspiring. Those conversations are always the most rewarding part of working with fibres, a bit like meeting the real stars behind the scenes :-) I would be truly grateful for the opportunity to take part and bring those learnings home!
Cotton has wrapped me in softness, shielded me from heat and cold, and followed me through every season of my life. In many ways she feels like a friend I rely on every single day, yet I have never stood on the soil where she was born, never witnessed the hands that guide her into being, never heard the stories of those who care for her. My work is devoted to reconnecting humans with biospheric fibers and the natural world, and this opportunity would allow me to finally meet cotton’s world and share those insights widely.
As a Trade Assurance Specialist at Fair Trade, I help factories and brands along their certification journey in the textile and apparel industry. I'm passionate about creating more just supply chains to serve global producers. I'd be so thrilled to deepen my experience in the industry and have the opportunity to see producers at origin. I am motivated by structural inequities and their disproportionate effects on marginalized populations and believe in the dignity and autonomy of all individuals. I work intentionally to integrate human rights principals and equity into social impact programs in order to maximize the positive impact organizations can have on the societies in which they operate. I'm keen to meet farmers to hear their lived experience and understand more about production practices in Australia.
