Nvidia GTC 2025 has become a landmark event, solidifying the company’s position at the forefront of the AI technology. This year the major theme was agentic AI, which represents a shift from data generation to AI systems capable of autonomous reasoning and decision-making.

This evolution was supported by Nvidia’s advancements in “physical AI,” highlighted through innovations like the Isaac GR00T N1, which Nvidia calls the “the world’s first open, fully customizable foundation model for generalized humanoid reasoning and skills.” Nvidia’s aim is to empower robots with interaction capabilities within the physical world.

Nvidia also emphasized the transformation of data centers into AI factories, driven by its Grace-Blackwell superchips and NVLink interconnects, designed to handle the data processing demands of modern AI.

Scaling AI infrastructure was also a focal point at the conference as Nvidia prioritized scaling AI infrastructure with advancements in co-packaged optics and liquid cooling to address the issue of power efficiency. Beyond hardware, the event highlighted the expanding applications of AI across industries, from autonomous vehicles to healthcare, and a significant focus on software ecosystems that will let developers use these new technologies.
