I have a PC with almalinux9, which was working fine.

Due to an hardware problem the motherboard was changed, and afterwards it could not boot...

I entered with chroot from a USB bootable Linux, checked that all the files are there and the operating system basically works, and also reinstalled grub.

Now unfortunately the only grub entry I can see when booting it UEFI firmware settings, while before GRUB was not showing up at all and the PC was going with "No operating system found".

I think the problem is that grub is looking for the wrong device to start (uuid of partitions may have changed)

Can you kindly help me find a solution? Thanks a lot!

What I tried (summary): -> entered using a USB bootable Linux device, mounted the Almalinux partitions and accessed it using "chroot" -> verified all files and partitions are there -> reinstalled grub (probably doing something wrong)
