TextTrackCue: exit event

This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since ⁨July 2015⁩.

The exit event fires when a cue stops being active.

Syntax

Use the event name in methods like addEventListener(), or set an event handler property.

addEventListener("exit", (event) => { }) onexit = (event) => { } 

Event type

A generic Event with no added properties.

Example

In the following example, cue prints to the console when it stops being displayed as the active cue.
