Ters (Терс) is a mountain in the west of the Kyrgyz Republic, between the Ters and Chatkal rivers.[1] It is 30 kilometres (19 mi) long running roughly south-west to north-east, and between 13 and 15 kilometres (8.1 and 9.3 mi) wide.[1]
The Chaktal side slopes whereas the Ters side is the steeper, with a gorge-like valley.[1] The mountain is mostly crystalline granite, with intrusions of Carboniferous granite-diorite and granite-syenite rock.[1]
It is between 3,000 and 3,300 metres (3,300 and 3,600 yd) high, its highest point being 3,890 metres (4,250 yd).[1] Up to 2,300 metres (7,500 ft) it is covered in field and meadow steppe, meadow and forest bush above that to 2,800 metres (9,200 ft), and above that tall grass meadow and alpine meadow.[1]

- What do you want me to think? I'm more troubled by the hagiographical content of the rest of the article. Drmies (talk) 13:40, 18 November 2025 (UTC)
- "Ongoing" needs an "as of", and the title of that source (no. 13 in the current version, Lopez vs. Antoninus) is incorrect; moreover, I don't believe such content should be cited to primary sources. Drmies (talk) 14:04, 18 November 2025 (UTC)
- Wow! Thanks for fixing it. I was more concerned with the scandals section. Single topic brain, I suppose. It would have taken me days to do what you did in 16 minutes? I am humbled! Do you happen to have a time machine or something? 100k GPUs tied into your brain?
Thanks again! Adakiko (talk) 01:22, 20 November 2025 (UTC) - Adakiko, it's all in a day's work--a User:Sitush joke, and Sitush knows how to prune. I've done this long enough, and by now I've lost my patience for bullshit--so much in that page was bullshit, sourced to the guy's autobiography. We don't need to be gentle there. I haven't done much with the section you were concerned with; I think you should try to find something better for that second paragraph, but perhaps all of it is properly sourced in that Pillar article. Good luck, Drmies (talk) 14:37, 20 November 2025 (UTC)

Today I have three biographies on the main page, in memory, miss a fourth one, nominated a fifth, that means little time for other matters. My places now include La Scala, - see music, Verdi three times, and twice in my story! -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:35, 18 November 2025 (UTC)

Disruptive edits at AJ Styles
We have a disruptive editor, User:Cenation Dog, repeatedly making edits at AJ Styles in which they are not only purposely adding non-words (appearanced) but making unsourced claims of the subject using slurs against homosexuals. Their edit summaries in doing this state "I feel like it's better this way." They're also mass deleting chunks of other articles with the only edit summary being "Making it more simple." Please look into this if able. Thanks. NJZombie (talk) 22:06, 19 November 2025 (UTC)
- Hey--OK first of all I gotta say that rasslin is pretty stupid, isn't it. Someone actually prayed to God to win some match? Couldn't he just have put in a request to management? I p-blocked them from that article: those edits were stupid. I'm not sure if I should revdel that stuff all the way at the bottom; perhaps some other admin can have a look. It's unverified too, but I can't rightly tell, after only one cup of coffee, whether that makes it more or less of a candidate for revdeletion. Tamzin, are you still with us? I know you love the WWE--do you have an opinion? Drmies (talk) 14:05, 20 November 2025 (UTC)
Articles for Creation backlog drive

Hello Drmies:
WikiProject Articles for creation is holding a month long Backlog Drive in December!
The goal of this drive is to reduce the backlog of unreviewed drafts to less than half a month of outstanding reviews from the current 2+ months. Bonus points will be given for reviewing drafts that have been waiting more than 30 days. The drive is running from 1 December 2025 through 31 December 2025.
You may find Category:AfC pending submissions by age or other categories and sorting helpful.
Barnstars will be given out as awards at the end of the drive.
There is a backlog of over 3000 pages, so start reviewing drafts. We're looking forward to your help! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 06:07, 23 November 2025 (UTC)
- If you wish to opt-out of future mailings, please remove yourself from the mailing list or alternatively to opt-out of all massmessage mailings, you may add Category:Wikipedians who opt out of message delivery to your user talk page.
A barnstar for you!

While I'm here: I created Adhirasam during that doughnut drive that you and CoM were running. I just found another article on the same topic Ariselu (using the transliteration from Telugu as opposed to my Tamil). Probably need to be merged, my title is more common in Indian English while the other article is older. Some fixing needed, Doc! —SpacemanSpiff 04:04, 26 November 2025 (UTC)

IP ban, never touched wikipedia on IP
Hi Drmies.
Today when I was looking at the Syrian wikipedia page (I was logged out) I guess I accidentally clicked something by accident and a ban message showed up. It said you enforced the ban and it expired in three days. The reason for this was “ Long-term abuse: active LTA on this range, very few useful edits, and talk page abuse“.
What I am confused about is that I have never edited wikipedia on my phone IP address. I was on cell data when this happened. I have used talk pages maybe twice in my life (the only one I remember is thanking someone for correcting my work ) and I have only made some edits, all in this account and not my IP. I also don’t know what LTA means.
Can you tell me when this ban was made? If it was made before March, it was probably the guy who owned my number before. (He hasn’t changed his number with anyone so I’ve been talking to his aunt about how this isn’t the correct number and that her nephew is not on the other side of the screen.) If it was made after march i have no clue what it is. If possible please also show or redirect the talk page that this abuse apparently happened.
Thank you for being a great part of Wikipedia and enforcing rules and banning others who don’t follow the rules! Only i don’t know who didn’t follow them. Thanks for your help Finalities (talk) 04:54, 28 November 2025 (UTC)
- It was probably a block, not a ban, and IP addresses change. Has nothing to do with a phone number (so you can talk to your aunt about other, more important things)--and you are editing now, logged in, so it doesn't really affect you, right? For LTA, see Wikipedia:Long-term abuse. Drmies (talk) 22:34, 28 November 2025 (UTC)
- Yes it doesn’t really affect me, i was really just curious on why it happened cause I have always signed in to edit wikipedia. Also, i’m not talking to my aunt, Im talking to some guy named Alonso’s aunt who didn’t bother to update his phone number with her. She also can’t fathom that Alonso changed his number and didn’t tell her. Finalities (talk) 02:01, 29 November 2025 (UTC)
- It happened because someone from that IP address or range abused Wikipedia. It has nothing to do with a phone number. IP addresses change. Drmies (talk) 13:48, 29 November 2025 (UTC)

In spite of your warning to this user, it would appear they have recreated their original user page, at least based on the tags alone. However, I don't know what it used to look like. — Dædαlus+ Contribs 07:55, 7 December 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks. Their little hypothetical score cards etc. were deleted per NOTWEBHOST, but apparently you can now use Wikipedia in precisely that sense. All you need to do to keep all that trash alive is to edit it every six months. Drmies (talk) 21:00, 7 December 2025 (UTC)
- Do you think I should create an AN/I report about this user, given it looks like they've bought the account from someone based on their most recent reply on their talk page, along with the other problems, or is it too soon? — Dædαlus+ Contribs 21:30, 8 December 2025 (UTC)
- I don't know--what's the charge? Edit warring on that stupid article, over the color lightblue or whatever? You can, but you'll be told by some to take it to 3RR. You could argue that their edit warring is inveterate and that it's bigger than this one article. Personally I'd be curious to see what people have to say about the disappearance of NOTWEBHOST, and Jason's user page is just the best example of the abuse of server space. But I can't guarantee you'll be successful. I mean, what are you asking for? Deletion of that user page? A partial block from the articles where they're edit warring? An indefinite block? (And I'm not sure they "bought" the account, although their English is so bad that God knows what they actually meant.) Drmies (talk) 23:14, 8 December 2025 (UTC)
- My main worry is that they appear to have bought their account from someone, unless there is a better explanation of what "I paided money too the owner too have my own account and I can do what I want" means, which unless I am mistaken, is a violation of WP's TOS. But there's also the issue of the undisclosed COI; the picture they uploaded to commons only has one other like it in existence - the same picture is found, with a water mark, on the instagram profile of the athlete they attempted to create an article of. The paid-for account possibility is really only what I'm concerned about, but I'm not discounting the other stuff either. — Dædαlus+ Contribs 23:30, 8 December 2025 (UTC)
- Well, then it sounds like ANI is the way to go, yes. Let me know if you post there. Drmies (talk) 00:01, 9 December 2025 (UTC)
- As requested, here is the notification of me posting to AN/I; the topic is: Concerning behavior of User:JASON174646. — Dædαlus+ Contribs 03:44, 10 December 2025 (UTC)

Sock
Hey Drmies. It seems obvious to me we have a sock here when comparing edit summaries and behavior: [1] [2].
I can file a SPI though I am not familiar with the case. You were the last one who commented in the last case report in 2022 so I decided to message you (surprising to me no formal reports have been made since then considering they always come back). --Griboski (talk) 23:15, 8 December 2025 (UTC)
- Oh man--that's actually sad. Well you may know that I'm not a CU anymore, so I can't do that for you (and I don't know if there's CU data archived anywhere for Rms), and this is kind of a big thing (Rms was here for a long, long time), so I'd appreciate it if you could write this up as a new SPI report. They're clearly not staying away. Thanks, Drmies (talk) 23:29, 8 December 2025 (UTC)
- Done. Let me if I should ping anyone there. Thanks. --Griboski (talk) 00:26, 9 December 2025 (UTC)
- Griboski, they're not exactly stomping at the bit at SPI, are they--but those things typically take a lot of time and not everyone wants to dive in deep. Editors like this one, that have been here for so long and know how to play the game, those are usually difficult cases, esp. if the suspected sock is also an experienced editor who has built up some credibility. If you want to get a taste for how difficult it can get, look at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/ChildofMidnight/Archive, at the case for the last sock, Candleabracadabra. I'm still grateful to User:Coffee for taking that up. Ha, most editors from those SPIs are gone. Drmies (talk) 20:55, 10 December 2025 (UTC)
- Done. Let me if I should ping anyone there. Thanks. --Griboski (talk) 00:26, 9 December 2025 (UTC)
- No problem, I understand. I just figured it was clear even without CU just by observing the edit summaries and behavior. I wasn't even familiar with the editor when they were initially blocked; it only took me a brief glance. I'll respect the process and be patient though. Thank you. --Griboski (talk) 21:13, 10 December 2025 (UTC)

- the references are all documented, any reference is authenticated and existing, the data is from a man who has over half a century of art exhibitions around the world, documents before the internet and visible history told through the data also exposed to biographies as Wikipedia wants, I would at least like to know who is the one you don't like, is it right please mrs... Drmies Elanim (talk) 15:58, 9 December 2025 (UTC)
- Elanim, "Drmies" is fine--you don't have to go with "Mrs", but thank you. Reading a draft doesn't take an experienced reader a lot of time, and I am an experienced reader. Moreover, the history shows that I first published an edit on that draft at 14:42, and I didn't reject it until 15:19. In the meantime, you did not do anything to improve the article, so I didn't have to re-read it after you submitted it for review. When you say "the correction", I don't know what correction you're talking about--perhaps these ones, if you were also editing logged-out; these are all the edits since Bonadea rejected the draft, and include a few helpful edits by Timtrent. But while taking out the electrical engineering thing from the lead was a step forward, you also included a whole bunch of...what? bare URLs like this, https://ibb.co/KJ12WvP. Who knows what that is? Fix those references before you submit something, that should be basic. Then you added the "His pictorial theme..." paragraph you added, which is grammatically mangled (the second part of the first sentence--things go wrong starting with "disappearing and recognizes", where I think the (implied) subject shifts from the landscape to the artist?). There is some moaning about modernity--but in Wikipedia's voice, when it's opinionated, and indeed that very sentence should be attributed to ... well to someone, a writer publishing something in a secondary source. But the provided source is this, which looks like his own website, with mostly paintings on it--and the Italian text, written likely by the artist or their PR agent, is simply promotional.I can go on, but I'm not sure you're listening, and the evening of my life is drawing near. Write NEUTRAL text based on SECONDARY sources, and write it up and format it correctly. Drmies (talk) 16:32, 9 December 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for responding to my request for clarification. You've explained in detail and explained the flaws in the draft. I'll try to follow your instructions. Unfortunately, I don't speak English and have to use a translator, which, when translating from Italian to English, doesn't accurately reflect the text but distorts the words. If I don't have to use https://ibb.co/KJ12WvP it's the only source for reproducing the news in newspapers, art magazines, and catalogs. I'll leave only the full description, hoping it's OK. I've avoided biographical notes in the text on the artist's life; I'll try to correct them further. Thank you and have a good day. Elanim (talk) 07:16, 10 December 2025 (UTC)
