What does innovation look like when it’s designed to last? At #B2X, we believe true progress in technology doesn’t come at the expense of the planet, it goes hand in hand. That’s why we’re proud to partner with Fairphone, a company that’s redefining what sustainable design can be. Their latest device – Fairphone 6 – sets a new standard for repairability, durability, and circular design, proving that cutting-edge performance and sustainability can coexist. Our collaboration with Fairphone spans the entire hardware lifecycle: 🔄 from repair and refurbishment to digital platform integration and portal solutions for end customers. With our newly launched Customer Portal, we’re taking another step forward, empowering users to manage repairs transparently and efficiently, embodying the principles of the Right to Repair movement. And the journey continues: in the near future, we’ll integrate a Product Carbon Calculator to make environmental impact more tangible, helping customers and partners measure, understand, and reduce their footprint. Our cooperation reminds us of something simple yet powerful: Sustainability isn’t a limitation, it’s a design principle for the future. 💬 Let’s shape the future together. #RightToRepair #CircularDesign #Sustainability #CustomerExperience #GreenTech #Innovation

Just this week I was having a conversation with a few people about their phones and how long they do... or rather do not... last. Technology is energy and resource intensive to produce, it is also expensive for many people. The tech industry should be advancing in innovative products that can fit into the circular economy. This also means, tech companies will need to innovate in other areas (product and service development) to expand their customer offerings since their customers won't have to re-buy products as often.

This is the future of tech we should all want. Modular. Repairable. Designed to last. Framework’s laptop isn’t just a cool concept: It’s a direct challenge to built-in obsolescence. Every component is swappable. Upgrading doesn’t mean throwing everything else away. It’s what circular design actually looks like. Fairphone is doing the same for mobile. Both companies prove something powerful: Just because we’ve normalised disposability doesn’t mean it’s the right design choice. Modularity isn’t just more sustainable: It leads to better, more user-focused products. We can deliver great product experiences, create less e-waste, and build a healthier ecosystem at the same time. Circularity starts at the blueprint. Who else is designing tech that challenges business-as-usual? #DesignForCircularity #ModularTech #DesignForRepair Framework | Fairphone

Fairphone is incredibly proud to announce a defining moment for the company: We’re officially expanding into the United States 🇺🇸 For over a decade, we’ve been showing that it’s possible to build a company that values people and the planet, and makes great, modular consumer electronics. This move builds on a strong financial foundation and momentum that Fairphone has been experiencing: 📈 Record 2025 Performance: We've just closed our strongest quarter to date. Q3 2025 revenue grew by a massive 61% compared to Q3 2024, with growth across all our product lines, including a 95% jump in accessories and 41% in spare parts. The Netherlands, our home base, has grown the most with a whopping 96%, followed by France with 87%, the UK with 48%, and Germany with 42%. 📈 A Resilient 2024: This record growth is built on a solid foundation. In 2024, we successfully returned the company to profitability, achieving a positive EBITDA of €1.7 million and a 36% increase in gross profit. This marks a new phase of financial resilience for Fairphone. 🇺🇸 Our First Step into the US We are entering the US market at a time when consumers are demanding change. With 84% of Americans supporting the Right to Repair and new legislation advancing quickly, the demand for sustainable, long-lasting technology has never been higher. 🎧 We will begin our US journey by launching our award-winning, modular Fairbuds XL over-ear headphones,e made with responsibly sourced materials, designed for easy self-repair, and offer a premium sound experience. Launching a phone in the US is a complex and ongoing process, and these headphones are our "first step" and lower entry-barrier for new users to join our mission. I’m extremely proud of our team for turning our vision into a sustainable, scalable, and profitable reality. We're ready to show the US market that a new kind of electronics industry is possible. More to come soon. Check out the full story on Reuters: https://lnkd.in/e_WXNSzR

How many unused phones, tablets, or other electronic devices do you have lying around? For most of us, quite a few. In fact, millions of such devices sit forgotten in drawers, representing both lost value and growing electronic waste. That’s where Allegro OdZyskaj comes in: a new service designed to make it effortless to exchange old electronics for cash. With just a few clicks, users can check the value of their device, send it for free, and receive money directly to their account. Simple, secure, and sustainable. This initiative is more than just a trade-in program. It’s part of a broader circular economy movement, helping reduce e-waste and giving devices a second life. And for Gen Z, a generation that values both convenience and conscious choices, Allegro OdZyskaj perfectly fits the way they interact with technology and sustainability. At Appunite, we’re proud to have taken part in delivering the technical backbone of this project, ensuring the platform runs smoothly, integrates seamlessly, and provides the kind of intuitive experience Allegro users expect. We’re delighted to have helped bring this vision to life and to support Allegro in building tools that make lives easier and contribute to the circular economy. 🌿💡 #CircularEconomy #Appunite #Allegro #DigitalInnovation
