Does anyone actually support the Baseball Hall of Fame doing stuff like this? Who is this even for?
This is obviously ridiculous, but I have not seen ONE person defend the Hall of Fame for continuously refusing some of the great players in baseball history for their ever-expanding list of reasons. It’s like Cooperstown is its own geopolitical entity with its own interests and believes that sports fandom is a zero sum game. Like they have to monopolize fun by sucking all the fun out of it for everyone else. This kind of lunacy year after year continues to make actual baseball fans hate them, and they just keep doing it!
