For those of us following the women's team, this season has been a big disappointment after the miracle run to the CL title. This article tries to get at some behind-the-scenes stuff. IMO not bringing in another defensive midfielder to replace Walti this summer was a big mistake, and tactically playing Russo at the 10 with Stina as the 9 (as Slegers did for several key matches) does not work and takes Russo out of good finishing positions.
