IKTS Week 13: At Chelsea.

Eze cemented his status as an Arsenal legend with a sumptuous hat trick. Looking back at the last transfer window, he had already approached Arsenal legend status by joining his boyhood club after the media were ludicrously lured into announcing that he was bout to sign for the noisy neighbors and this was the perfect game to score his first ever hat trick. Arsenal pressure resulted in a pass by Eze to Rice and it needed Vicario to produce one of many excellent saves while one of the defenders almost followed with an own goal. The first goal saw Merino send an excellent pass to Trossard who scored tidily. Minutes later, more pressure by Arsenal resulted in a one touch pass by Rice for Eze to score his first goal. Within thirty odd seconds of the beginning of the second half, Timber found Eze who scored his best goal (left footed) and (after Zubimendi carelessly lost the ball to Palinha who fed Richarlison for a long range goal with Raya justifiably away from his goal line) the hat trick goal came as Trossard found Eze, a player who turned the xG of 2.0 in four goals while the noisy neighbors had a very low xG, at 0.1 or thereabouts. North London is red (again) and this time around, it is Eze red.

In addition to this excellent win, Manchester City lost at Newcastle, and I would like to thank one of the most likeable players on that team (with Willock) namely Harvey Barnes for his brace in the 2-1 win. Liverpool lost inexplicably at home to a Sean Dyche concocted Nottingham Forest. Finally, Manchester United lost at home to an Everton team that lost a player to a red card early in the game for a really bizarre reason when a yellow card was more justified for a simple slap on the face to a teammate.
